Synopsis

Hanetobi promises lots of fun for the entire family through its skits and games such as:
The Almost $1.00 Shop: Most shoppers have been into a $1.00 shop before, but not many have been into one quite like this… The “middle-aged” women that shop in this store along with the guests’ each week have found to their dismay that not all the items in this store are $1.00. In fact, the “Almost 100 yen Shop” has several items disguised as $1.00 items, but actually range in price from several hundred to several thousand dollars!!! And what’s more outrageous is that the shoppers have to spend money from their own wallets that they work up enough courage to take to the register for a “price check.”
The Sushi Shop: Japanese use chopsticks to eat on a daily basis, but not all of them are good at using them. In this sushi shop, the customers get to try out how good their command of chopsticks really is. And if they happen to not be able to pick up the entire food item on the plate that is moving around the sushi belt or don’t use the chopsticks according to the rules, they get to meet some muscle heads that spin them around in their chairs!
The Dress Up Game: The game that this segment of the show is based on is all the rage with young girls in Japan. The concept is really simple! While playing a spelling game, the person that loses each round, has to give up an article of clothing that they are wearing to the person they are playing the game against. Most of the clothes that the guests each week wear are more than most people would consider adding to their wardrobe, so seeing the look on their face when they have to trade a $5,000 blouse for a $1.50 one is just the beginning of the fun.
“Hanetobi” also features several other skits and games for viewers to enjoy.
