What if a doctor could diagnose a patient’s illness with one glance? And could then tell if that illness would be cured or result in death? How would the world change if such a doctor existed?
Tameyori, the protagonist of this drama, is a doctor who possesses fearsome, awe-inspiring “all-seeing eyes”. Owing to his deep medical knowledge and uncannily observant eyes, Tameyori can accurately guess the ailments of people on the street and moreover, can “see” whether their illnesses will be cured or not. But his sharp, diagnostic eyes can also detect the signs of a criminal in an individual.
Tameyori’s mission as a doctor is to save as many patients as possible with his astounding medical skills, even though he works out of a city clinic that lacks any diagnostic equipment. However, he knows better than anyone that there are patients who are beyond help, no matter how hard the doctor strives.
But this tale has another doctor, Shiragami, who also possesses the “all-seeing eyes”. Shiragami uses his ability every chance he gets and only treats patients that he knows can be saved. As a result, his hospital becomes well known and he has a hand in the formation of a medical conglomerate.
These two doctors are like two sides of the same coin. They meet as if guided by fate and finally duel over a bizarre murder case.
