Ever since he was a child growing up abroad, Naoya has idolized the Japanese juvenile delinquents labeled “yankees”, and now he enters Kasumino Technical High School, home to a “legendary yankee”… except Naoya finds “wild yankees” there, slackers who lack any desire for improvement. At first, he’s seized with despair, but then happens to come across water polo, the “martial arts of water”. Naoya clashes with Ryuji and the other “mild yankees”, but friendship develops as they pursue the “pinnacle” of water polo, facing off against an elite high school and its ace player. This hot water polo brigade will heat summer up even more!
