The Yahagi family has two foster sisters. Mineko, the older of the two, is quite shy, while Miwako, the younger sister, has a volcanic personality. Mineko has recently become engaged to Go, a university student. Meanwhile, Miwako doesn’t get along with her stepfather and attempts to commit suicide. When Miwako is saved by Go, they become romantically involved. On the day before Mineko and Go’s wedding, Miwako commits suicide with Go. To fill the emptiness over the loss of her daughter, Miwako’s mother adopts Mineko. With her fate broken by Miwako, Mineko is now forced to live the life of Miwako.
Everybody dreams of becoming somebody else once in their lifetime. But would this really bring happiness? The drama follows the mysterious life of Mineko as she tries to seize back her life.
