One day, Mizuki receives the news of her mother’s death from a hospital in Tokyo. She learns a terrifying fact there; her mother committed suicide. Kyosuke, the son of the hospital director, tries to comfort Mizuki who is grief-stricken. Mizuki is charmed by his gentleness and finds herself falling in love with him. However, Mizuki finds out that her mother was having an affair with Kyosuke’s father and that her mother chose death for she could no longer see hope in their illicit relationship. Mizuki comes to hate Kyosuke’s father and denies her feelings for Kyosuke himself.
Hatred breeds hatred, which turns into grudges. It is as if feelings and emotions of various people twine around her and pull her deeper into a whirling storm. Would hatred and grudges between Mizuki and Kyosuke ever vanish? Would they be able to love each other again someday?
