A mysterious group of judges appear before the dying lead characters to tell them the length of ‘injury time’ they have. Injury time is the time a person spent in vain in his or her life. The lead characters receive injury time right before dying, just as injury time is given near the end of a soccer match. This series of short stories depicts how the characters use their injury time.
