Kensuke Komikado is eccentric, sharp-tongued, moody, and selfish, but he’s also a hotshot lawyer who’s never lost a case. Machiko Mayuzumi is an apprentice lawyer who is passionate about social justice, but inflexible. As partners, they go together like oil and water, tackling cases with preposterous logic. This new series sees the debut of several genius next-generation lawyers who round off the show. Meanwhile, Komikado’s veteran lawyer rival is still going strong. And there’s a master-pupil showdown between Komikado and Machiko when she strikes out on her own.
