Ever since his wife passed away, Eiji Shiomi, a flower shop owner, has raised his daughter alone. One rainy day, a blind woman shelters from the rain in Eiji’s shop. This is Eiji’s first encounter with Miou Shirato.
Recently, Eiji’s 8-year old daughter Shizuku constantly wears a hood over her head and refuses to take it off. He consults Keiko Hishida, the woman who taught Eiji everything about flowers, but she doesn’t have a clue about Shizuku’s behavior.
One day, Eiji is delivering flowers to a night club, when he comes across Naoya Kudo being accused by his colleagues. Eiji rescues Naoya from the argument and invites him to stay at his home.
