Kosaku and three other doctors in training have experienced a year and three months of on-the-job-training and were steadily getting ready to become on-board physicians of the “doctor helicopter” system. They have flown to various accident sites and saved many lives and faced as many deaths.
One day, just a few days away from assessment day of the training program, they receive an emergency call requesting for a doctor helicopter. An airplane is believed to have crashed. Doctors get on the helicopter and rush to the site without receiving any detail of the situation. When the doctors arrive at the site, they soon realize that they have stepped into a living hell.
