This is a serious drama about a woman who tries to so hard to be happy by overcoming lots of problems. As a child, Hiromi (Miyoko YOSHIMOTO) was abused by her own mother. As she grows up, she cannot be together with a man she truly loves, and is betrayed by her best friend, Chikako (Chiaki HARA). Hiromi decides to raise a girl as her own daughter when her best friend, Chikako left her, but later on only when Hiromi seems to have found a peaceful life, the daughter finds out Hiromi is not her real mother and things get into turmoil again. What is the real meaning of happiness? How does one person have to bear so much pain? She has to find the answers by herself.
