Peco and Smile are childhood friends who join the Ping Pong Club at Katase High School.
Peco is a prodigy, but constantly skipping practice, while Smile works his utmost to bring out his own skills led by his coach.
Together, yet doing their own thing, they enter the inter-high-school tournament.
Before them appears a Chinese exchange student, “China”, and “Dragon”, a player who is way beyond the skills of a high school student and also “Akuma” (a demon) from Smile and Peco’s younger days. Who will end up with “The planet’s first prize” in Ping Pong?
We present to you this story of five young men, each tackling their youth in their own way, through the fastest sport on Earth, “Ping Pong”.
