Synopsis
Commemorating the millennium anniversary since the legendary literature, THE GENJI STORY was first written in the 11th century — comes the animation of this masterpiece.
The story depicts the life of Hikaru Genji (“Shining Genji”), who is an emperor’s son and incredibly handsome, as well as his love affairs with women in the aristocratic society of the Heian period (8th Century).
